New Features in 2017

The Celgene Patient Advocacy team is pleased to announce an exciting new feature added to the 2017 Innovation Impact award program . . .

….Introducing INNOVATION TANK

Innovation Tank 2017

New in 2017, five (5) finalists will advance to a final round of live judging – an experiential “Innovation Tank” on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Celgene’s headquarters in Summit, New Jersey. Each of the top five finalists will have an opportunity to make a short presentation, as well as answer questions from the judging panel. One organizational representative from each of the top five (5) finalists will be invited to attend “Innovation Tank” and travel costs will be covered by Celgene. Winners will be selected live on November 14, 2017.

Revisiting Our Written Application Format
Award winning applications will demonstrably improve, enhance or transform patient lives and will exhibit innovative, creative and “outside the box” thinking to optimize patient outcomes. This year’s applications will be accepted in written format, and will only be accepted online through this website. As much as we loved seeing your videos last year, we received some feedback that the video applications required more time and effort than is feasible for your organizations. We appreciate the feedback as we wholeheartedly support your organizational missions and don’t wish to take time away from your activities that address patient needs.

Enhanced Opportunity for Top Ten Finalists
Top Ten finalists will have the opportunity to participate in a customized consultation, with a uniquely qualified coach, designed to enhance proposed solutions and offer additional knowledge and expertise.

Award Amounts
Three winners will be selected to receive $100,000 each for their initiatives. Judges will select the best initiatives, regardless of applicant organization disease area (oncology, hematology and immune-inflammatory conditions). Additional grants may be awarded at the discretion of the external judging panel.
