Light the Night, 2015

For the sixth year in a row, the Celgene community pledged increasing support for the LLS Light The Night 2015 campaign, collecting another record amount of donations. Over 750 Celgene employees and their friends and family walked in October and November to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) raise money and remember those touched by leukemia and lymphoma.

This year Celgene had 86 teams registered with fundraising efforts exceeding last year’s numbers by over $200,000. Celgene’s total fundraising exceeded $705,000. With these results, Celgene remains the #1 biopharmaceutical partner and ranks #3 in fundraising for all organizations across the United States.

Corporate support has helped LLS continue major advances toward cures for blood cancer. Since 1949, LLS has invested more than $1 billion, supporting some of the best researchers in the world and helping to achieve dramatic increases in the survival rates for both childhood and adult leukemias.
